Noodles & Company Closes Downtown State College Location

Noodles & Company at 244 W. College Ave. permanently shut its doors on Wednesday after 13 years.

The fast-casual restaurant’s signage was removed, as well as its phone number, and it is no longer listed on the Noodles & Co website. A sign on the door reads, “We’re sorry to say this Noodles location is permanently closed. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed serving you and appreciate all your support.”

The State College store originally opened in 2012, specializing in pasta and noodle dishes, as well as soups and salads.

Noodles made an announcement back in August of the company’s plans to close 28-32 restaurants by the end of the year. There are six locations left in Pennsylvania, with the sign also listing the three closest stores: Harrisburg, Camp Hill, and Pittsburgh.
