Report: Penn State Football Hires Iowa State Wide Receivers Coach Noah Pauley For Same Role

Matt Campbell keeps working.

Penn State football is adding former Iowa State wide receivers coach Noah Pauley to its staff for the same role, according to Pete Nakos of On3.

Pauley spent three seasons leading the wide receivers in Ames, Iowa, most notably developing Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins into NFL players. Prior to Iowa State, he coached the same position at North Dakota State.

Pauley was named FootballScoop.com’s National Wide Receiver Coach of the Year in 2024.

The wide receivers coach position has been a revolving door for the Nittany Lions in recent years, with little success this decade. It’s now up to Pauley to rebuild the room by acquiring talent and developing players in Happy Valley.
