Report: Former Penn State Football Quarterback Beau Pribula Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Former Penn State football quarterback Beau Pribula plans to enter the transfer portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos.

Pribula entered the transfer portal before Penn State’s College Football Playoff run a season ago. He landed at Missouri, where he stood out through eight weeks before suffering a dislocated left ankle against Vanderbilt on October 25. He only played in two of the Tigers’ final four games. Pribula ended his year with 1,941 yards on 182-for-270 passing, 11 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

Pribula’s transfer portal entry was seen as a perfect example of college football’s unfortunate timeline. He didn’t want to leave Happy Valley, and his entry came as a sudden shock to the team as it prepared for its first-ever College Football Playoff game against SMU. With Drew Allar announcing his return for the 2025 season, though, Pribula thought it was the right move.

Pribula will now search for his third team in as many years. Ethan Grunkemeyer said Wednesday that he hasn’t decided on his Penn State future yet. Tight end Joey Schlaffer and cornerback Elliot Washington II are currently the only Nittany Lions with plans to enter the transfer portal.
