Penn State Women’s Hockey’s Katie DeSa Named To HCA Women’s Hockey Goalie Of The Year Watch List
Penn State women’s hockey goalie Katie DeSa has been tabbed to the HCA Women’s Goalie of the Year Watch List, it announced on Wednesday. It’s DeSa’s second straight season being named to the watch list.

DeSa’s has been instrumental in the Nittany Lions’ dominant start to the season, posting a 16-2 record with seven shutouts along the way, which leads the country. The Pawcatuck, Connecticut, native’s .889 win percentage is also second nationally among goaltenders while leading the AHA conference.
The senior has been named the AHA Goaltender of the Week three times already this season, in addition to the conference’s Goaltender of the Month in September, October, and November.
