Your THON 2026 Weekend Weather Forecast

It’s time for THON Weekend, folks.

Your THON 2026 forecast has just a little of everything. It’s been an exceptionally cold winter in State College, but this weekend should be a bit more bearable. If you’re making your way over to the Bryce Jordan Center, prepare for some mild temperatures with some rain, sun, and possibly some snow on Sunday.

Check out AccuWeather’s full forecast here.

Friday

Day one of THON Weekend brings the highest temperatures, with a high of 48°. Expect some early morning fog that should give way to some showers. It will be cloudy all day on Friday with little to no wind and most of the precipitation coming in the morning.

Don’t forget a winter coat as you make your way over to the Bryce Jordan Center for the first few hours. The low during the night will get as low as 36° with a real feel temperature in the mid 20’s.

Saturday

Rolling into day two, Saturday brings some more mild temperatures, but it is a bit chillier. The meteorologists are calling for a high of 41° with a low of 33° at night. It’s going to be a bit windier than Friday, with gusts getting up to 20 mph.

There isn’t any perception in the forecast, and the sun should pop through a few clouds from time to time during the day.

Sunday

Don’t put away your winter clothes just yet, because the final day of THON 2026 brings some colder weather to the area. Sunday calls for a high of 38° and a low of 27° at night. A potential snowstorm is headed for State College as well. Currently, AccuWeather expects 2-4 inches of precipitation to settle on the ground, with some of that coming on Monday.

Snow could start falling as early as 4 a.m. on Sunday and continue throughout the final hours of THON.

Onward State will update this story as the forecast develops.
