Report: Penn State Hoops Guard Dominick Stewart Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State men’s basketball guard Dominick Stewart has entered the transfer portal, per League Ready’s Sam Kayser. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

Stewart appeared in 56 total games for Penn State over two seasons, with all 24 of his starts coming in 2025-26. In his final campaign in Happy Valley, he averaged 6.6 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He shot 39% from the field and 33% from 3-point range.

The 6’5″ guard from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, eclipsed 15 points in a game three times this past season, but never reached 20. His highest-scoring contest of the year was 18 points against New Haven on November 8.

Stewart is the sixth Nittany Lion to enter the transfer portal, following Kayden Mingo, Eli Rice, Mason Blackwood, Melih Tunca, and Freddie Dilione V. Ivan Jurić re-signed with the program while Mike Rhoades inked two more overseas players.
