Dani Dennis-Sutton Drafted No. 120 Overall By Green Bay Packers

Former Penn State football defensive lineman Dani Dennis-Sutton was drafted by the Green Bay Packers with the No. 120 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. He is the latest of the wave of Nittany Lion pass rushers to make the jump to the NFL, joining Abdul Carter, Chop Robinson, Adisa Isaac, Arnold Ebiketie, Jesse Luketa, Micah Parsons, Odafe Oweh, Shaka Toney, and Yetur Gross-Matos.

Dennis-Sutton was a defensive anchor in Happy Valley since arriving in 2022, appearing in 55 games over his four seasons and starting 30 of them. The Millsboro, Delaware, native finished with 127 total tackles, 34.5 tackles-for-loss, 23.5 sacks, 7 forced fumbles, ten pass deflections, and two interceptions. He leaves as Penn State’s sixth all-time sack leader.

Dennis-Sutton solidified himself as a day two prospect after cranking up his production in his junior and senior years. He totaled 84 tackles, 17 sacks, 25 tackles-for-loss, and five forced fumbles over the last two seasons.

Additionally, he blocked three punts in 2025, tying him with Jack Ham and Andre Collins for Penn State’s single-season record. He earned an All-Big Ten honorable mention from the media in 2024, third-team All-Big Ten from coaches and the media in 2025, and Academic All-Big Ten honors in both years.

Standing at 6’5″, 256 pounds with 33.5-inch arms, the 22-year-old brings a prototypical defensive end build to the Packers’ defense. Dennis-Sutton’s scolding-hot motor makes him relentless at the point of the attack, which will likely pin him as the strong-side edge defender for new defensive coordinator Johnathan Gannon. He joins former Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons in a defensive line room that lost Rashan Gary, who was traded to the Dallas Cowboys during free agency.

While he doesn’t have the twitch or bend to consistently beat tackles around the edge, Dennis-Sutton uses counter moves to attack the chest and shoulders of offensive linemen and stay anchored as a run defender, which will allow him to get snaps as an early-down defensive end with the Packers. On top of that, he will contribute on special teams as a rookie.

To see where the rest of Dennis-Sutton’s fellow Nittany Lions go, folks can tune into the remainder of the 2026 NFL Draft. Day three begins at noon on Saturday, April 25, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The final four rounds will be televised on ABC, ESPN, and the NFL Network.
