An Open Letter To Make HUB Boneless Wings Permanent

Dear Penn State Dining,
When people talk about graduating, they often talk about the moments they know they’ll look back on and miss. The late-night food runs. The craziest party stories. Tailgates before football games. Getting ready for a night out.
But when I graduate, I already know there’s one thing I’ll be nostalgic for: the HUB’s boneless wings.
They’re not just another Penn State food. They’re one of the best things to come out of my college experience, and frankly, maybe one of the best things to come out of Penn State.
There’s only one issue.
For reasons I simply cannot understand, the HUB boneless wings are only served on Wednesdays. That means when the craving hits on a Monday at lunchtime, I’m expected to accept that they won’t be at the Soup & Garden salad bar.
I no longer want to live like this.
The HUB boneless wings deserve better. Better yet, every Penn State student deserves better.
So, Penn State HUB Dining, I have one request. Please make the boneless wings a permanent item on the menu. They aren’t just food. They are a reward after a long day, the answer to your cravings, and a way to get more people into the HUB.
I don’t want to keep planning my schedule around receiving these blessings (the wings). I certainly don’t want to graduate knowing that I could’ve had more.
Penn State, please do the right thing. Give the people what they want.
Keep the HUB boneless wings a permanent menu staple.
