Forbes consulted a panel of experts who determined Barbour to be "one of the most forward-thinking administrators in all of college sports."
Participants can enter individually, as a partial teams, or full teams of five people.
The focus of this year's events, including a talk from former NFL player Wade Davis and the Men Against Violence walk, is "supporting survivors, educating the public about sexual assault, and providing spaces to share stories."
"We thought they did the nicest job marrying the flavors. There was a little bit of spice in the sauce and they also did a little bit of basil-pesto sauce on the side, so we got a little bit of that and it added some more flavor. Their presentation was excellent, too."
The festival is Penn State's version of the larger International Edible Book Festival, held around the world on April 1 each year to celebrate the birthday of gastronome Jean-Anthelme Brillat-Savarin.
The show, tentatively named Welcome to Penn State: The Musical, will detail the trials and triumphs of the first-year experience at Penn State and be presented to new students at their summer orientation.
