Keeping with one of the most useful recent THON traditions, CATA will be offering all-night LOOP service through this weekend. The service is sponsored by McLanahan’s and the Advisory Board Members of the Four Diamonds Fund. You can check out the schedule below. CATA also has a printable version available on its website.

In one day, about 30 hours from when this post will be published, I, along with 707 other brave souls, will stand up on the floor of the Bryce Jordan Center and not take a seat for another 46 hours. But why do I THON? Find out after the jump.

Want to help THON reach the pages of USA TODAY? All it takes is the simple act of copy and paste or hitting the retweet button. On Tuesday, USA TODAY brought their Kindness Challenge campaign to the Twitterverse. The contest runs through Friday (2/18) at 6pm.

Family Hour is without a doubt the saddest part of the otherwise joyful THON, but it's one of the most essential. Last year, Onward State's own Stefan Choquette explained it to me best: "Such a tear jerker. If you're not a waterfall by the end of it, you're a robot."
Family Hour starts at about the forty-fifth hour, when Four Diamonds families are invited up on stage to share their emotional stories with the crowd. Some parents share stories of their children's journeys battling their cancer, eventually triumphing over the disease in the end. But some don't.
