Penn State has extended its ban on university-affiliated student group travel through August due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The election is moved from Wednesday, April 1, to Wednesday, April 15.
One day after cancelling remaining winter and spring sports, the NCAA has granted spring athletes an extra year of eligibility, according to multiple reports.
"I'm not really ready to move on yet. I know soon, I have to, but for the next couple days, I'm still a college basketball player in my mind -- still part of this Penn State basketball team. It's not something I was ready to let go of on March 12."
UHS will remain open for international students remaining on campus, as well as those who return to campus due to certain specific circumstances.
Despite 21 regular season wins, an eight-game Big Ten winning streak, and 10 weeks ranked in the AP Top 25, Penn State was unfortunately robbed of an NCAA Tournament appearance due to reactions to the coronavirus pandemic.
