Penn State will celebrate Pride Month this April with a full agenda of events "to spread awareness about the LGBTQA community and educate the Penn State community about sexual and gender diversity."

State College Police will host a free active shooter training following the recent shooting at the Ramada Inn.

The group hopes to foster a thoughtful conversation on a pressing issue "given the turbulent times we live in."

"We will continue to look for worthy recipients to continue to help make a difference in lives of those in need. That’s what Tim would want and expect. Our work is far from done."

Legion of Blue (men's basketball), the Park Avenue Army (women's soccer), the Roar Zone (men's hockey), and Sons of Jeffrey (men's soccer) are some of the student sections that will be competing in this year's festivities.

The vigil, organized by friends of the student, will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday outside of Old Main.
