Author and professor John Bacon turned some heads recently with his latest book: Fourth and Long: The Fight for the Soul of College Football. The book focused on his time with four Big Ten programs: Northwestern, Michigan, Ohio State, and of course, Penn State. We got a chance to catch up with Bacon and discuss his time in Happy Valley, his book, the NCAA sanctions, and dinosaurs.

Last Friday, midfielders Christine Nairn and Maddy Evans received the exciting news that they would be joining teams in the newly established National Women's Soccer League. Onward State had the chance to talk to Nairn and Evans about their college soccer careers and their future endeavors.

After last night’s election process, Penn State’s Panhellenic Council (@PennStatePHC) chose Rachel Franceschino (@rachelfran1) of Alpha Delta Pi as their new Executive President. Also the Governmental Affairs Chair of UPUA, Franceschino will work with seven other members of various sororities for a full year organizing events for the 22 chapters on campus.
