A team of researchers from Duke, Intel, and Penn State used a widget called “TaintDroid” to monitor what data 35 of the most popular Android applications send out unbeknownst to the user, according to an article about Android from the BBC.
The data transmitted by the applications was found to include everything from the phone’s location to its number and audio information.
So it’s an away game, another playlist, another pain in the ass. I know, I know. But you have to make the mix to continue drinking all day while we prep for the Iowa game, right?
At this point, we’ve begun to cover every genre. This week has even more new songs from dubstep artists, as well as the usual Mr. Kanye West. As we try to diversify the songs for the playlist, keep in mind that some songs just aren’t right for the party (like the new Glee soundtrack), and that this party playlist is solely for the purpose of shakin’ asses.

The National Research Council (NRC) released its 2010 doctoral program (graduate school) rankings on Tuesday. The NRC does this type of release every 10 yrs, though the last release took place in 1995. This data is taken very seriously by many firms that judge our institutions. Let’s see what the report says…
