Welcome to Happy Valley Communications

For those of you who don't know them, Happy Valley Communicati0ns is the Onward State of Public Relations. Born in 2009, HVC is Penn State's only student-run public relations firm that exists to offer professional PR services to Penn State and national campaigns. At the heart of HVC is the relationships between students, faculty and the general public.

JoePa Nominated for Medal of Freedom, Again

Penn State's legendary Coach Joe Paterno, who needs no introduction on these pages, was nominated for the Presidential Medal of Freedom for the second time in as many years by a bipartisan collection of legislators, including Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA), Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA), Rep. Glenn Thompson (R-PA5), and more than a dozen others. Check out the details after the jump.

Attending a Penn State football game is an experience that can't be described in words. The atmosphere in the stadium is overwhelming and there's nothing like 100,000 people taking part in a "We Are" chant. After 3 years of attending football games in the Beav, I've made a few observations regarding its clientele.
