Gameday Coverage: Penn State vs. San Diego State

Good morning, Nittany Lion fans! Penn State (2-1) welcomes San Diego State (1-2), each looking to win today in the programs’ first-ever meeting.

The Aztecs are coming off of two straight losses after a dominant win over San Diego in the season opener. On the other side, Penn State lost its opener to Temple but has played much more complete games since then in confident wins over Buffalo and Rutgers.

With a 3:30 kickoff at Beaver Stadium around the corner, here’s all the information you need to know for today’s game.

Kickoff: 3:30 p.m. Eastern time.
Television: BTN.
Weather: According to Accuweather, it should be partly cloudy in the mid-to-high 60s during tailgate time. Around 3:00, the sun will go behind the clouds but the temperature should stay steady. Unlike the first two home games, there is no chance of rain today.
Last time they met: That never happened. The winner today will take a 1-0 series lead.
Injuries: Nyeem Wartman-White is still out, while Andrew Nelson is questionable. Franklin loves to never give insight about injuries, but a few players on defense are banged up, and another expected omission is Adam Breneman for the fourth time this year.
