Former Penn State Lineman Steven Gonzalez Signs With Buffalo Bills

Following a brief stint with the Arizona Cardinals, former Penn State football offensive linemen Steven Gonzalez is heading to Buffalo.

He announced on Twitter Wednesday night that he will sign with the Bills to continue his NFL career.

Gonzalez signed a rookie contract with the Arizona Cardinals after not being selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, but he was eventually waived coming out of training camp.

Nevertheless, the New Jersey native was one of Penn State’s most consistent offensive linemen throughout his career in Happy Valley. The 6’4″, 341-pound guard played three full seasons for the Nittany Lions while the team finished with a top-five overall rushing attack in the Big Ten.

Gonzalez was awarded second-team All-Big Ten honors by the media, Big Ten coaches, and the Associated Press after his senior campaign. Additionally, he received first-team All-Big Ten honors by Pro Football Focus following his sophomore season in 2017.
