Report: Penn State Hoops To Skip VCU Matchup In 2024-25
Penn State men’s basketball will not play VCU during the 2024-25 season, according to CBS Sports insider Jon Rothstein. The Nittany Lions are required to play the Rams in Richmond, Virginia, as part of head coach Mike Rhoades’ buyout.
Penn State has not yet released its full 2024-25 schedule, though some opponents and dates are slowly coming out.
The Nittany Lions are reportedly set to play Drexel around Christmas and confirmed they will play Virginia Tech in the Hall of Fame series in Baltimore, while Jon Rothstein reported Penn State will face Penn on December 29 at the Bryce Jordan Center, Buffalo on December 1, and play in the 2024 Sunshine Slam.
