Saint Louis Transfer Addie Lyon Commits To Penn State Women’s Volleyball

Penn State women’s volleyball picked up a commitment from Saint Louis transfer setter Addie Lyon, she announced Saturday morning.

“One more go around…see ya in the fall,” said Lyon, who will join the Nittany Lions with one year of eligibility remaining.

A native of O’Fallon, Missouri, Lyon played in 27 of the Billikens’ 31 matches this past season, going for 4.68 assists per set. She totaled 1,131 assists in two years with Saint Louis after spending two at Missouri.

Lyon will join a Penn State team that recently won its eighth national championship alongside Ohio State transfer Emmi Sellman and a group of five freshmen.

Izzy Starck, who will be a sophomore next season, was Penn State’s starting setter last season, appearing in all 37 matches and leading the nation in total assists with 1,483. Starck was named both Big Ten and National Freshman of the Year.
