Three-Star Safety Tyrell Chatman Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2026 three-star safety Tyrell Chatman has committed to Penn State football, he announced Sunday morning. Chatman is Matt Campbell’s second commit of the 2026 recruiting class.

The Lincoln, Nebraska, native originally signed to Iowa State during the early signing period before Campbell left for Happy Valley. Chatman is the 50th-best safety in the class of 2026 and the third-best player in the Cornhusker State by the 247Sports composite rankings.

Bryson Williams was the first commit in the Campbell era on Saturday. Penn State now has four players in the 2026 recruiting class.
