Penn State Football Linebacker Kari Jackson Plans To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State football linebacker Kari Jackson is entering the transfer portal, he announced on X on Tuesday. Jackson has three years of eligibility left.

The West Bloomfield, Michigan, kid committed to Penn State in February of 2023. The 6’1″, 240-pound linebacker selected Penn State over conference rivals Wisconsin and Maryland.

After redshirting his true freshman season in 2024, Jackson only appeared in one game against Nevada in 2025. The redshirt freshman did not record a stat over two years in Happy Valley.

Jackson is the sixth Nittany Lion planning to leave the program for the transfer portal this January.
