Penn State football tight end Matt Henderson has entered the transfer portal, per 247Sports’ Tyler Donohue. Henderson has four years of eligibility remaining.

Henderson only appeared in four games in 2025 to preserve his redshirt. He did not record any stats in his true freshman campaign. The Powhatan, Virginia, native picked Penn State over Michigan State during his recruitment. The 6’5″, 246-pound tight end was a four-star prospect by 247Sports composite rankings out of high school.

Henderson is the 33rd Penn Stater to enter the transfer portal after a disappointing 2025 season.
