Three-Star Cornerback Dhillon McGee Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2027 three-star cornerback Dhillon McGee has committed to Penn State football, he announced on Instagram Wednesday night.

The Red Oak, Texas native is tabbed as the No. 67 player in the state, No. 47 cornerback in the 2027 class, and No. 498 player in the nation, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings. The 175-pound cornerback recorded 31 total tackles, one tackle-for-loss, and 15 passes defended in his 2025-26 junior campaign, per his MaxPreps profile.

McGee is Penn State’s fifth third commit in the 2027 recruiting class, joining Kei’Shjuan Telfair and Ka’ron Ceaser. Zachary Gleason Jr. and Semajay Robinson flipped their commitments to West Virginia and Virginia, respectively.

McGee chose the Nittany Lions over SMU and Texas. To check out what the newest Nittany Lion brings to Happy Valley, watch his Hudl highlights here.
