IFC Trains Greeks on New Social Policy

While everyone else has been enjoying a nice, simple syllabus week during the first week back at Penn State, the Interfraternity Council has been busy working to get Greek men trained on the new IFC Social Policy. IFC VP for Risk Management, Tom Piarulli, is holding training sessions every evening this week to certify Greek men for becoming Greek Event Monitors for their social functions. This new system replaces the previous one which made security guards mandatory at social functions. The new IFC Social Policy gives the accountability back to the chapter members to maintain a safe and organized environment for all social events.

PSU Libraries Launch New Website

A number of technological advances have been made for this fall semester at Penn State and one of those is the PSU Libraries website. Take a look at it, because you will need to access the library a lot sooner than you think! When you open the updated website, you'll instantly notice a more user-friendly experience. This should allow you to access information more quickly. In addition to improved speed, the site includes many interesting new features.
