Patrick Salmon, a junior majoring in Energy Engineering has sported this Gaelic outfit every St. Paddy's day for three years. Drastic Actions PSU Will Take After the Budget Cuts

In a shocking twist, Penn State will actually not be getting as much money as initially hoped from the state. Many rich people associated with the university consider this the end of the world and expect people other than themselves to suffer because of it. With the budget cuts looming on the horizon, it is very likely that the university will resort to drastic measures to make up for the losses. Remember, we’re only talking drastic here. Increasing tuition is the PSU administration equivalent of showering.

Penn State Reaching Out to Japan

As most of you are aware, this past Friday, Japan suffered a 9.0 magnitude earthquake and its trailing tsunami, one of the world's worst natural disasters ever recorded. With the death toll having reached over 2,000 and still climbing, and around 450,000 people living in shelters, you are probably asking yourself, "How can I, someone who lives in the middle of nowhere, Pennsylvania, possibly help?" Well, here's a list of events occurring throughout the week (and beyond) here at Penn State, at which you can donate money and help volunteer.
