The Huck Institutes of the Life Sciences has issued a request for proposals for projects that will use Penn State's unique research technologies to contribute to the global coronavirus outbreak.
Penn State also announced it is currently working with Housing and Food Services to make on-campus residence halls available for those in need who cannot travel home over break.
Penn State encourages quarantined students to maintain good hygiene practices, self-monitor for symptoms, and check their temperature twice a day.
As part of the new classification, Penn State Global Programs has instructed students to make travel arrangements home and is providing various options to aid the process.
