Participate in THONward State 2011

We're set up at press row for our third annual THONward State weekend of coverage, and we're freaking excited. The Bryce Jordan Center looks great. Committee members are spread across the floor awaiting the impending arrival of the dancers.

We have some cool stuff planned for this weekend-- posts, pictures, liveblogs, videos, and tweets galore. You know us though. We don't cover events in quite the same way as some other local media outlets.

THON 101: Special Events

Although THON Weekend only comes once a year, the Special Events committee works to ensure that THON is present on campus in the months leading up to the big weekend.

THON 101: Entertainment

When talking about what exactly the Entertainment Committee does for THON, I think it would be easier to list the things that they aren’t helping with. Entertainment Committee Overall Michael Fitzpatrick told me what this committee is all about and I pass that knowledge on to all of you.

THON 101: Focus Groups

As THON has grown since its first year in 1973, having smaller components within the well-structured internal committees enables the multiple facets of THON to perform their duties to the best of their abilities. Different committees work together for different functions of THON, and these groups are called focus groups.
