Drunk Sober High
The festival is Penn State's version of the larger International Edible Book Festival, held around the world on April 1 each year to celebrate the birthday of gastronome Jean-Anthelme Brillat-Savarin.
The show, tentatively named Welcome to Penn State: The Musical, will detail the trials and triumphs of the first-year experience at Penn State and be presented to new students at their summer orientation.
From Cat Chambers to Pawsluszny, there's a pet name for anyone with a desire to honor Penn State permanently (or for at least 14 to 15 years).
Anyone with an active Penn State e-mail address can post, like, comment on, and vote on works of original fiction on the new short stories website.
Attendance to the show is free, but attendees are encouraged to "honor their inner Queen Esther" and wear their best costumes to the event.
It may not be Miami or Panama City, but Philadelphia still has plenty to offer students in search of something to do over spring break.
