Last night, in a packed Heritage Hall that was probably breaking fire laws, Anthony Jeselnik gave one of his trademark unadulterated performances that included a few jokes that were cut from Comedy Central's Roast of Charlie Sheen.
His no-holds-barred style of comedy makes Jeselnik unique among comedians, and that showed last night. It was a set full of some brutal humor and completely unafraid to offend, perhaps moreso than usual, since some of these were the jokes that didn't make the cut on the Roast. Facilities Committee Chair Tyler Doppelheuer shocked most of the members of UPUA last night when he announced his resignation from the assembly.
After giving his committee report, Doppelheuer remained standing to inform everyone of his decision to resign, saying he could not make the Wednesday night meetings this semester. He added, however, that this is not the end of his involvement with UPUA altogether.
