Finally! Chrome Lounge Opens Tonight

Though the windows are boarded up and there aren't droves of stumbling customers ordering Fat Bitches from the Are U Hungry location on West Beaver Ave, the distinct sounds of jack hammers rattle from inside the once popular late night spot and a sign hangs in the window that reads "Coming Soon: Chrome Bar & Hookah Lounge."

Wings Over to Move to Hamilton Square Plaza

Despite rumors that the beloved mass distributor of sauce-drenched chicken fingers, Wings Over Happy Valley, was closing for good, the local favorite for late night delivery will be continuing business from a new location at the Hamilton Plaza. They'll be starting their move as early as next month and will be totally vacated from their Parkway Plaza location by August 1st.

State College 4th of July Goes Street

That's right! For the first time, according to the Centre Daily Times, this year's Central PA 4th Fest celebration will feature a full-on parade. The Borough Council unanimously voted in favor of street closures to accommodate the inaugural Parade of Heroes. The parade is set to begin at 2 p.m. on July 4 at the Borough Building at 234 S. Allen St.
