Nine players have been listed as out for Penn State football’s conference opener against Wisconsin, per the Big Ten’s Wednesday availability report.

Six players are listed as questionable, and Omarion Davis is the lone athlete with a probable designation.

Koby Howard will not suit up for the game after Matt Campbell said he would miss an “extended period of time” earlier Wednesday morning.

Defensive ends LaVar Arrington II, Max Granville, Mason Robinson, and Dayshaun Burnett will also be sidelined on Saturday.

Granville will be out for the season after suffering an injury in practice, as will Robinson, who got hurt at the start of spring ball. Burnett and Arrington are expected to be healthy toward the latter half of 2026.

Cornerbacks Joshua Johnson and Tyler Armstead are also listed as out, as are tight end Cooper Alexander and offensive lineman Will Tompkins. Tompkins is another player Campbell revealed will miss the rest of the year.

Andrew Rappleyea is listed as questionable after limping off the field in Saturday’s win over Buffalo. He did not practice on Tuesday. Offensive linemen Brock Riker and Dominic Rulli’s statuses are also up in the air for the Wisconsin game, though Riker practiced at full strength this week.

Also listed as questionable are linebacker Cam Smith and wide receiver Ethan Black.
