You're not canning this weekend and campus is empty, so what should you do?
This Saturday is the third annual boxing show, which will take place in the White Building. Tickets are only a few dollars at the gate. Although Penn State is known for its football, boxing used to be a division one sport in the 70s and Showdown in the Valley is bringing it back.
On Tuesday, February 22nd from 8 to 11 P.M in Eisenhower Auditorium, legendary Titans’ coach Herman Boone will be speaking as a part of SPA’S Distinguished Speakers Series. Unfortunately, Denzel Washington will not be making an appearance, although he portrayed Boone in the 2000 production of Remember the Titans.
So, it is second semester and now that you know your way around campus, you know which professors to avoid, and what classes to take, what’s next?
You begin wondering how on earth you’re going to get involved this semester, and then you pass a table in the HUB urging you to sign up for Sorority Recruitment, and wonder, “Why should I be in a sorority?”

This Thursday, November 18 at 3 p.m. in room 114 of the Theatre Building, there will be a workshop called OUT AND ABOUT OUT. This is a collection of short plays and poems performed by the Diverse Culture Class of the School of Theatre.
