Happy NFL Draft to all who celebrate!
A whopping 20 Penn State football players will hope to hear their names called over the weekend in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The draft runs from Thursday, April 23, to Saturday, April 25.
Vega Ioane was selected No. 14 overall by the Baltimore Ravens on day one.
Vega Ioane, Dani Dennis-Sutton, Zakee Wheatley, Drew Allar, Kaytron Allen, Nick Singleton, Drew Shelton, Nick Dawkins, Zane Durant, Khalil Dinkins, Nolan Rucci, Tyler Duzansky, Devonte Ross, Trebor Peña, Liam Clifford, Kyron Hudson, Dominic DeLuca, Alonzo Ford Jr., Gabriel Nwosu, and Riley Thompson are on the verge of their NFL dreams coming true.

9:26 p.m.: Checking in for the last time here, folks. Once again, the Onward State football beat got busy with Blue-White coverage, but here’s a quick rundown of where all of Penn State’s pieces landed:

11:07 p.m.: THAT CONCLUDES ROUND THREE! Dani Dennis-Sutton, Zakee Wheatley, and others will have to wait until tomorrow to hear their names called.
11:07 p.m.: Jalen Huskey, a cornerback from Maryland, is the final pick of round three. He heads to the Jags at pick No. 100.
10:57 p.m.: BIG DUNK. Iowa tackle Gennings Dunker goes to the ‘Burgh at No. 96. What an incredible name. Football player.
10:46 p.m.: America’s Team takes Michigan edge Jaishawn Barham at No. 92. How bout ’em?!
10:39 p.m.: The 49ers take running back Kaelon Black from Indiana at No. 90.
10:29 p.m.: Florida tackle Austin Barber comes off the board and will head to Cleveland.
10:27 p.m.: Drew has a teammate! The Steelers take cornerback Daylen Everette out of Georgia at No. 85.
10:10 p.m. The Ravens (Drew Allar’s new arch rival) take USC wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane at No. 80.
10:08 p.m.: UPDATE: Drew Allar is a Steeler, just a reminder.

9:58 p.m.: I’m so happy I could cry. The kid is in the NFL. The Medina, Ohio, native is heading close to home. PENNSYLVANIA STAND UP!
9:56 p.m.: DREW ALLAR IS A STEELER. DREW ALLAR IS A STEELER.
9:48 p.m.: WE HAVE A TRADE! The Browns trade pick No. 74 to the Giants. They give away a 2027 4th-round pick in the process. Big Blue selects wide receiver Malachi Fields.
9:47 p.m.: The Saints take Georgia tight end Oscar Welp at No. 73, not to be confused with Onward State football beat writer Oscar Orellana.
9:44 p.m.: Clemson wide receiver Antonio Williams heads to the nation’s capital.
9:43 p.m.: “Washington [DC] is the sports capital.” Nolan Wick is looking down smiling somewhere.
9:33 p.m.: The Eagles select offensive tackle Markel Bell out of Miami at No. 68.
9:26 p.m.: The Broncos decided to make an appearance. They select Tyler Onyedim at No. 66.
9:23 p.m.: Another quarterback is FINALLY off the board! Carson Beck heads to Arizona at No. 65.

9:17 p.m.: The defending champs select Bud Clark from TCU at No. 64.
9:09 p.m.: Penn State legend Shane Conlan announces the pick for the Bills. They select Buckeye cornerback Davison Igbinosun.
9:04 p.m.: WE HAVE A TRADE! Denver trades pick No. 62 to the Buffalo Bills.
9:02 p.m.: Ohio State tight end Max Klare goes to the Rams at pick No. 61. Ty Simpson gets his weapon.
8:57 p.m.: WE HAVE A TRADE! Chicago trades pick No. 60 to the Tennessee Titans.
8:55 p.m.: Michigan tight end Marlin Klein to the Texans at No. 59. Never forget when Colston Loveland was selected ahead of Tyler Warren.
8:52 p.m.: WE HAVE A TRADE! The San Francisco 49ers trade the 58th pick to the Cleveland Browns. They select Emmanuel McNeil-Warren from Toledo.
8:51 p.m.: Da Bears select center Logan Jones out of Iowa at pick No. 57.
8:43 p.m.: WE HAVE A TRADE! Outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard is heading to Philadelphia. Minnesota receives a 2026 and 2027 3rd-round pick in return. Howie is making moves.

6:52 p.m.: Greetings, folks! We are under 10 minutes away from day two of the 2026 NFL Draft! A few Penn Staters are hoping to hear their names called tonight as rounds two and three commence.
Day One
11:06 p.m.: That’ll do it for round one of the 2026 NFL Draft, folks! Come back tomorrow to follow the fun and see more Penn State names called.
11:05 p.m.: The Seahawks select Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price with the No. 32 overall pick. The first time where the top two running backs selected are from the same school. Shoutout Ja’Juan Seider. Also shoutout to Dylan for bringing the energy with the pick announcement.
10:58 p.m.: Auburn edge rusher Keldric Faulk goes to the Titans with the 31st overall pick. The Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks are on the clock.
10:57 p.m.: New NFL Draft record! 320,000 people in Pittsburgh. Pennsylvania gets it done.
10:53 p.m: Omar Cooper Jr. to the Jets. Time to watch that play a million times again. Real talk, though, the Jets had a great first round. Geno Smith is still the quarterback, though.
10:44 p.m.: The New England Patriots take Utah tackle Caleb Lomu with the No. 28 overall pick. Is this the biggest Patriots news of the day?
10:35 p.m.: The Houston Texans trade up with the Buffalo Bills and select Georgia Tech guard Keylan Rutledge at No. 26 overall.
10:31 p.m.: Oregon safety D*llon Th*eneman (AKA the beginner of the end) is off to the Chicago Bears. You’re welcome for censoring. I know some wounds are still open. Sigh.
10:25 p.m.: The streets will never forget that Texas A&M comeback against South Carolina. Insane scenes.
10:24 p.m.: The Browns take Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion with the No. 24 overall pick! Did he stutter?!
10:12 p.m.: Miami edge rusher Akheem Mesidor joins up with the Los Angeles Chargers at No. 22 overall.
10:07 p.m.: Arizona State offensive tackle Max Iheanachor is off to the Steel City. Pittsburgh gets its first-round selection on home soil.
10 p.m.: The Philadelphia Eagles select Makai Lemon from USC.
9:57 p.m.: Ioane will really be on the front lines for Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry next season. What a pick.
9:43 p.m.: The Jets take Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq with the No. 16 pick! We are halfway through the first round.

9:18 p.m.: The Miami Dolphins take Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor.
9:14 p.m.: The Cowboys snag Ohio State safety Caleb Downs at No. 11.
9:10 p.m.: The Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins have swapped picks in the first round. The Cowboys’ pick is in.
9:06 p.m.: Seems like the two offensive linemen rated higher than Vega Ioane are now off the board. He could be the next one off the board.
9:05 p.m.: This draft is flying by. Giants take Miami offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa with the No. 10 overall pick.
9:04 p.m.: The Browns’ trade down turns into Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano. Whoever’s under center in 2026, at least they have some more protection.
9 p.m.: Nice to see Tyson taking a moment in the tunnel. That’s what it’s all about.
8:58 p.m.: The New Orleans Saints take Arizona State wideout Jordyn Tyson with the eighth overall pick. Big skill-position get for the Saints.
8:50 p.m.: The Washington Commanders roll with Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles. Three picks in the top seven? Surely Ohio State won the natty.
8:44 p.m.: The Chiefs pick LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane. Andy Reid sure does love his LSU defensive backs.
8:43 p.m.: IT’S A TRADE! The Cleveland Browns trade the No. 6 overall pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for No. 9, a third-round pick, and fifth-round pick. The Chiefs’ pick is in.
8:42 p.m.: Why all the Grunk hate on Reese’s highlights? Ohio State had more than one game this year, ESPN.
8:39 p.m.: Back-to-back Buckeye selections. Linebacker Arvell Reese is off to join John Harbaugh’s New York Giants. New era in the Meadowlands.
